About The Trip


Overview


Our 11 day CHERRY BLOSSOM ((桜) aka Sakura Season itinerary will see us traverse through four different cities in mainland Japan, during one of Japan's most picturesque season.

Explore Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Fuji with us with day trips to Chiba and Nara.




TOKYO


Day 1 - 18th April 2025

Step into Tokyo, a metropolis seamlessly blending tradition with modernity, where a myriad of distinctive experiences await, ranging from cultural immersion to futuristic glimpses through art, alongside stunning landscapes reminiscent of cinematic scenes.



Day 2 - 19th April 2025

Get lost in futuristic art and adventure without boundaries and immerse yourself in a borderless world.

This is an out of body kind of experience that you wouldn't want to miss out on.



Pay homage at the tranquil Meiji Shrine, a serene shinto shrine dedeicated to the emperor of Meiji shrine and empress Shiken who played a major role in the modernization of Japan. End the day by experiencing breathtaking vistas of Tokyo from the Tokyo Skytree Observatory Tower.

Day 3 - 20th April 2025

Immerse yourself in the rich historic religious culture of Japan by visiting the most iconic and famous budhist temple, Senso-ji temple in the Asakusa district.




Next, we venture into Harajuku, famous for its trendy fashion shops and chic cafes. Admire cutting-edge fashion and snap photos of the unique street styles that define this district. You are likely to come across the Harajuku/Anime girls here.

Day 4 - 21st April 2025

Let the child in you manifest! We head to Disneyworld to relieve our childhood with the best of Disneyland and DisneySea.

KYOTO

Day 5 - 22nd April 2025

Embrace the Essence of Japanese Culture. We will spend our next 4 days exploring Kyoto, the cultural hub of Japan. Nestled in history, Kyoto stands as the custodian of Japan's revered heritage, boasting refined kaiseki cuisine and the enchanting world of the geisha.





Day 6 - 23rd April 2025

Our Kyoto tour begins at the beautiful Tenryu-Uji Temple gardens surrounded by gorgeous autumn leaves and the most beautiful fish known to this world, The Koi fish.


We then cross over the Togetsukyo Bridge and up the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, a surreal natural wonder.


Next, behold the shimmering Kinkakuji Temple, the famed Golden Pavilion, a true gem of Kyoto.



Day 6 - 24th April 2025

We get to explore the enchanting Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates that form a mesmerising pathway through the forested mountainside.


You can choose to do your Kimono shoot on this day or on the 26th of April.


Prepare for an unforgettable experience as we partake in a traditional Green Tea Ceremony, guided by an elegant Maiko, an apprentice Geisha and/or a Japanese Tea Master. It's an enchanting glimpse into the world of Kyoto's cultural traditions.



OSAKA

Day 7 - 25th April 2025

Get into the thrill of experiencing the world of film as we visit universal studios.



To cap off our stay in this city, we will indugle in some sumptuous delicacies, cocktails and/or mocktails at Kyoto's most sought after rooftop restaurant and bar. This restaurant is known to host some of the biggest celebrities. In April 2024, we dined right across Jeff Bezos while Beyonce & Kelly from Destiny's Child were in town for a meet and greet while Oprah Winfrey was on a girl's group trip.


Gear up for some amazing moments here before we head out to the club for some good-fun and great-times.




Day 8 - 26th April 2025

Kyoto is akin to tea ceremonies. A city very deeply rooted in its culture that transends to its people and their way of life and you definitely do not want to miss out on this amazing experience that carries so much knowledge around tea preparation and its origin.








Roll up your sleeves as we get into some cooking lessons at a Japanese homestead making authetic Japanese cuisine from Ramen to Sushi.



FUJI

Day 9 - 27th April 2025

From Tokyo, our next city to hit will be the famous and awe inspiring Fuji, which hosts the tallest and most beautiful Mountain in Japan, Mt. Fuji. Like a scene from a movie, we will be able to experience this mounteneous region in different ways.


Guests will check in and take the day easy, choosing to either stay in or take beautiful strolls along the Fuji Five Lakes. This is also so perfect for couples who join the trip and want to use this opportunity connect.


We have a special day planned with excursions around Fujikawaguchiko Area, exploring the most beautiful sceneries this town has to offer. All you need is an international drivers license (which you can get from AA Kenya for Kenyan residents or from your respective DMVs in your country for non Kenyans). Get ready to explore in style.



WE WILL STOP AT: Lake Kawaguchiko, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture below.




Day 10 - 28th April 2025

An exhilarating day out at the ammusement park with Mt. Fuji as your back drop. Take advantage of re-living childhood memories and experiences for those who would like to let their inner child come out and play.


Guests may also indulge in any other activities they choose on this day. Recommendations will be shared including lakeside yoga, hiking Mount Fuji, cable car and aerial swing among, fruit picking among others.




ACCOMMODATION IN FUJI

We specifically booked this Ryokan hotel so that our guests get to experience the Japanese way of life in their traditional accommodations but with a touch of modernity.


A Ryokan is a traditional Japanese inn that typically features tatami-matted rooms and hot communal baths/jacuzzis.


First Accommodation

At this hotel, we will also experience a private group and/or individual onsen (private hot bath) with beautiful views of Mount Fuji as we sip the afternoon away and indulge in beautiful conversation.



FINAL DAYS IN TOKYO

Day 11 - 29th April 2025

We bid Sayonara to Japan as we head back for he last full day of Shopping for those looking to get any last minute gifts. We will share with you the betst spots to go shopping for particular things once you land in Tokyo on day 1.


During your last day in Tokyo, a few activities that are not included on the itinerary will be shared in case you would like to participate in.


These activities include but are not limited to Summo Wrestling Shows, Samurai Sword & Fight Training, a trip to Disney Land, Helicopter Tour over Tokyo, immersive food tours, night photography tours for film enthusiasts and more..


Guests who may want to leave earlier and not spend the two nights in Tokyo may do so. Pease contact us directly to make the necessary arrangements and discuss a discounted price.


SUMO FIGHT EXPERIENCE & DINING WITH GIANTS


SAMURAI SWORD FIGHTING EXPERIENCE

Take your time to pick up some souvenirs or indulge in a little Retail Therapy. In the evening, we'll come together for our final dinner and drinks, celebrating the incredible journey we've had together.


Consider visiting any must-see spots you haven't experienced yet or revisiting your favorite places to say farewell. Capture some last minute photographs to cherish the memories. Explore local markets, take leisurely walks, or simply indulge in the ambiance of Tokyo's vibrant neighborhoods.


Reminisce about our adventures, and toast to the memories we've created.



BIDING SOYANORA TO TOKYO
11th December 2024

On your departure day, make the most of your remaining time in Tokyo.


As the day draws to a close, head to Narita or Haneda for your departure. You will be booked on a luxury airport limousine transfer to get to your different terminals depending on your flight.


Board your flight with a heart full of cherished memories and a desire to return to Japan someday. Sayonara, until we meet again on another unforgettable journey

Option Two: $5,800 per person single room


Payment Schedule

  • Non-refundable deposit of $500 at the time of booking

  • Balance to be paid in instalments or in full before end of March 2025

PAYMENT T&Cs

The payment towards your trip can be paid out weekly monthly or all at once. It is important to keep up with your trip payment schedule, when you make payments towards your trip we in turn secure your spot on this adventure!

 

Be sure to inform us ahead of the deadlines if you anticipate making a late payment.

Sign ups will stay open until the trip is full. If you are joining the trip late simply pay your deposit to confirm your spot on the trip and catch up with your remaining payments.

Prices are either double or single person occupancy. Priority of single person occupancy will be given to the first five individuals to make payment.
